Back in the summer of this year, Take That fans were given the exciting news that Robbie Williams would be rejoining his former group and they would all be performing a UK tour. Well the tickets have just gone on sale recently, and it looks like websites are finding it hard to cope with the demand.
In fact, according to a recent article over at bbc.co.uk, ticket websites such as Ticketline, See Tickets, The Ticket Factory and Ticketmaster appeared to have buckled under the strain and have all crashed. Many fans have been trying to get through to the ticket hotlines, as well as queuing up at venue box offices.
A spokesman for the group said that fans should just keep trying. When fans tried to log on to The Ticket Factory website they were greeted with an error message that read: “Too many concurrent users, while Ticketmaster.co.uk displayed a message that said: “Service unavailable.”
In the meantime, angered fans began taking to the popular micro-blogging website Twitter, to rant about the difficulty getting onto ticket websites. Ailbhe Maher said: “Why do sites not prepare for mornings like this?” Another fan wrote: “Two computers, a phone and still no luck.”
